Your Instructor
Marc Diamond is an NRA Certified Instructor, Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Certified License to Carry Instructor and United States Navy veteran of Honorable service (March 1984 thru November 1993) achieving the rank of Gunner’s Mate Guns (GMG1) Petty Officer First Class. During this time, he maintained shipboard gun mounts and ordnance systems, and supervised crews in their operation. He also trained personnel in the use and maintenance of large caliber guns and small arms as a minor caliber weapons instructor.
In 1994 following a successful military career, Marc achieved his next goal and lifelong dream of attending and graduating from the Police Academy in Los Angeles, California, to join the ranks of the Los Angeles Police Department. During his 26-year career until his retirement in 2020, Marc worked numerous uniformed and plain clothes assignments. Marc investigated thousands of cases and was responsible for removing hundreds of dangerous individuals from the streets of Los Angeles County. In recognition of his many accomplishments, he was promoted to Detective in 2008 and later was awarded LAPD Detective of the Year in 2010.
As a result of his extensive knowledge and experience in having conducted hundreds of extensive interviews with criminal suspects, Marc knows what criminals look for in potential targets for home and/or business burglaries, including camera and alarm vulnerabilities, what kind of property criminals look for, and how they sell it on the open market.
Marc has received training in handling tactical situations, situational awareness and more. Marc brings real world experience to every course.
