The NRA First Steps Pistol Orientation course provides beginning shooters with an introduction to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to own a specific pistol model safely.  Topics include Introduction to Pistol Safety, Parts, operation, ammunitiion and the Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting.  Additionally, the student will learn Pistol Shooting from the Benchrest position, Pistol Cleaning and Safe Storage.  This course is perfect for persons who are brand new to shooting and trying their pistol for the first time or looking to purchase their first one.  Students will complete hands-on training as well as live fire.

The course will be taught with the student’s own pistol.  If you are still looking to purchase a pistol and not quite sure what type of one to get, no problem.  Marc has several 9MM’s you can use to see what size and type will work best for you.    

Course location: Right to Carey Guns 108 Gateway Hills Lane Granbury, Texas 76049.

Course schedule:  Contact us to schedule a class.  This course is approx. 3-hours.  

Cost: $85.00 (includes range fees) A $30.00 (non-refundable) deposit is required to reserve your seat.  If you cannot make your scheduled day the deposit will be applied to the next available class.

Once registered you will receive a confirmation email verifying your enrollment and a list of items to bring to class.  

IF you need to use one of Marc’s handguns let us know.  You will need to provide ammunition.
